NHS Staff Industrial Action on 29 January 2015, 9am-9pm called off

Following their recent talks, the Government and the Agenda for Change trade unions have just announced that the industrial action planned for Thursday 29 January has

been called off.

No action will now be taken by any members of the unions involved in the pay dispute with the Government.

A small level of disruption may still remain in relation to Leigh and Wrightington theatres where patient’s planned operations previously cancelled, cannot be rescheduled

at short notice. 

However, we are attempting to reinstate some operations but due to the short notice this may not be achievable.  We apologise in advance if any patients have suffered any

inconvenience and would like to thank our service users for their continued patience.
