Dr Dhawan trained in the North Western deanery as Specialist Registrar in Cardiology rotating in different hospitals in the region including South Manchester University Hospital (Wythenshawe), Central Manchester University Hospitals (Manchester Royal Infirmary) and Blackpool Victoria Hospital completing general cardiology training and sub speciality training in Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology and Devices.
His areas of specialist interest are cardiac arrhythmia and device therapy. He routinely performs interventional electrophysiology procedures and implant biventricular pacing and intra cardiac defibrillators.
Dr Dhawan is a keen teacher and dedicated to the education and training of junior doctors.
