Micky completed his basic and higher medical training in New Delhi, India. He subsequently moved to the UK. The majority of his post graduate training has been in the Northwest. He has been a consultant physician (elderly care) at WWL since 2002.
He has sub-speciality interests in falls and bone health in the elderly. He has led and developed the falls service within the Trust. More recently he had been increasingly involved in the Trust agenda on patient safety and quality of care. He is working passionately to provide input and improve the Orthogeriatric services within the Trust.
He is involved in graduate teaching and is a tutor for third year medical students from Manchester University. He is an honorary lecturer with Salford University.
