Background

James qualified from Liverpool University medical school in 2000. He undertook his higher surgical training in the Mersey region and gained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2011. He completed his specialist training with a year in the foot and ankle unit at Wrightington Hospital.

James specialises in surgery of the foot and ankle for both elective and traumatic conditions.

He has a specific interest in the treatment of neuropathic foot disorders.
